Introduction

Artists and professionals in the arts industry face a unique set of challenges and are driven by unique and personal artistic ambitions; in some cases this means artists can have a hard time identifying connections between general best practices in business (like creating a business structured around a scalable model) and their own artistic skills and goals.  Part 1 asks readers to ask and answer questions about themselves; Part 2 details key terminology and concepts for establishing a foundation of personal finance rooted in planning and security; Part 3 offers suggestions for exercises readers may undertake to better understand the relationship between their talents and their target audience.
